Chiang Kai-shek has his own Memorial Hall! Opposite was the National Music Hall, and in the middle was some festival going on. By luck we arrived just in time for the changing of the guard. It feels a bit strange being in countries where leaders are elevated to a semi-deity level.

Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall 國立國父紀念館. Taiwan really was a change of pace, so many museums and galleries to see. But in a sense, for a person who only vaguely knows of the history of China/Taiwan, they all look the same. Every hall had statues of all the ‘founding fathers’ anyway!
